Gli
Still Remains dicono la parola fine alla loro esperienza come
gruppo, a causa di motivi personali non meglio specificati: il
Cornerstone Festival e il tour di cui erano gli headliner sono state le
ultime occasioni in cui si sono esibiti dal vivo.
FLACTOROPHIA:

José
Barragan dei sorprendenti one man grindcore band Flactorophia è
trapassato sabato 19 aprile in un incendio scoppiato durante un concerto
in Equador, nel quale hanno perso la vita anche molte altre persone.
Aveva 26 anni. Preghiamo per i suoi familiari.
MARTYR'S
SHRINE:
nuova band australiana
E'
uscito il debut album degli australiani Martyr’s Shrine, nuova
band di Michael Carlisle e Mike Forsberg due ex membri dei
Mortification. L’omonimo album ha una durata di 50 minuti ed è un
misto di death/thrash.
FROST LIKE ASHES:
Ep release durante maggio
Uscirà a maggio, limitato a 250 copie, il nuovo lavoro degli unblackster
Frost Like Ashes, seguito di "Tophet". Si tratta di un Ep
già piuttosto controverso intitolato "Born To Pieces".
NEAL MORSE:

NeAl
Morse ha concluso di registrare il suo nuovo album che uscirà entro la
fine di quest'anno; la date-release tuttavia ancora non è stata ancora
stabilita.
VIRGINIA CREEPER:
Ep in arrivo!
Ecco

il ritorno sulle scene
Il
return album dei Soul Embraced "Dead Alive", prodotto da
Barry Poynter (Living Sacrifice, Zao) e mixato da Erik
Rutan, segna il ritorno della band sulle scene dal 2003. Reunion che
vede il rientro in line-up di Lance Garvin (Living Sacrifice)
dietro la batteria, e di alcune new entry come Jeff Bowie al basso e
Devin Castle alla chitarra.

maggio in Europa (8 luglio in USA) uscirò in digipack la versione
rimasterizzata di "Hellig Usvart", il leggendario album fondatore

Metal Mind Records, limitata a 2000 copie,
conterrà anche tre bonus track del Live in Oslo del 2006.

NARNIA: Rivel lascia la band!
Clamorosa
quanto inattesa notizia dalla storica heavy band svedese, il frontman e
simbolo dell'act lascia il
gruppo. Questa la sua dichiarazione in merito:
"Hi everybody!
I guess you have read the news.
I am very proud for the 12 years as vocalist/frontman for Narnia and
what God has done and still doing through the band.
I felt for a long time that I needed to take a long break and I shared
this with my friends and members of Narnia. This is something I have
felt since 2006 and it was a very hard desicion to make because Narnia
is very big part of my life and it will always be. The others guys will
continue and I will not stop them and I wish them the best of luck to
continue the mission to spread the good news about JESUS CHRIST.
I feel good and peaceful inside and it was a right desicion to make for
me in my life situation.
I will continue to do music and run my record label CM Swden / Rivel
Records. I am also working on a new solo album in Swedish where I will
do some Narnia songs with Swedish lyrics. Concerts are planned but all
is delayed because right now I need time to rest.
You will hear my voice on some albums this year.
The final studio album with DIVINEFIRE called Farewell will be out JUne
20th and I am one of the vocalists on the 2nd album release with the
band 7 DAYS.
I am forever thankful for all the memories I have had with CJ, Andreas
and Andreas and all fantastic support and prayers from Narnia fans all
over the world. Please continue to support the band.
I will also thank my manager and friend Rainer Mittelstädt at MCM MUSIC
for the great work for Narnia and also Niclas & Frippe DOT Music in
Sweden and of course all record labels who has released the Narnia
albums.
I am very blessed to sing for my KING and SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST and I am
looking forward for the future what GOD has planned for me.

2008, ha in line-up il singer e chitarrista Claudio Enzler dei
Sacrificium e nonché il drummer JJ Kontoniemi dei finnici Deuteronomium.
Il loro debut "Chapters Of Downfall" uscirà il 5 Maggio.
